You should never have sexual intercourse if you or your partner have a genital disease (venereal or not). You should also be aware that some diseases (herpes, etc.) of the genital area are never totally cured; relapses will come often during the rest of your life.&nbsp; </p> <p align="justify">If it is impossible to avoid sexual desire, it is highly suggested that you use condoms for all kinds of sexual relations including relations without vaginal or anal insertion. </p> <p align="justify">What are the main venereal and/or non venereal diseases affecting the genital area?</p> <ul type=disc> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Gonorrhea (often, heavy discharges and pain... sometimes just itching...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Chlamydia (often, mild discharges... sometimes only redness of the head of penis...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Syphilis (often, painless wound... inguinal lymph nodes are common and general symmetrical rash can occur later on...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Condyloma (often painless nodules...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Herpes (usually blisters come first and painful wounds later on...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Tinea (often itching; productive (wet) wounds... but sometimes dry and/or progressing into a dry eczema...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Pediculosis (often itching and wounds due to scratching ... insects are often visible without magnification in pubic hairs...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Scabies (often acute itching; eczema and little linear wounds due to both scabies and scratching...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Trichomoniasis (often itching and mild vaginal discharges...redness is common...)</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Etc&#8230; the list is not exhaustive.</p> </li> </ul> <p align="justify">Nearly each disease can have quite similar symptoms and the correct diagnosis can only be made by a doctor and through a general medical check including sometimes a blood test. </p> <p align="justify">You must know also that:</p> <div align="justify"> <ul type=disc> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Sometimes lesions can be seen but sometimes lesions can not be seen as they are localized inside the vaginal cavity or hidden in the pubic hairs...</p> </li> </ul> </div> <ul type=disc><li style=' '> <p align="justify">Sometimes the lesions never recover without treatment ...but sometimes lesions seem to disappear by themselves: in fact, the disease enters into your body and will produce neurological symptoms or skin diseases many years later... </p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Sometimes taking the wrong medications make you feel better quickly but will induce worse complications or severe relapses later on&#8230;</p> </li> <li style=' '> <p align="justify">Etc.</p> </li> </ul> <p align="justify">You should never try to do the diagnosis and treatment of a genital disease (venereal or not) by yourself.
