pxx353. Complete story of a pustular psoriasis (photo 27 of 32) For begin go to photo pxx313.

Summary: after we normalized skin with a high dose of dexa

1- If we reduce dexa slowly, the skin is either normal or produces lesions like "chronic eczema"(4)..

2- If we decrease dexa faster, tendancy of skin is to produce "nummular patches" (1).

3- If we decrease dexa too fast, new layer of skin appears between nummular lesions (2)with pus (especially in periphery of nummular lesions(3) that will increase the diameter of nummular lesions later ).

All together, we can see from this photo that at least 3 times, we decreased dexa too quickely (2 severe nummular lesion(1) for the first reduction and 2 successive pustular layers (2) for the next 2 severe reductions).
